Worship this week
In his book, The Worship Pastor, Zac Hicks reminds us that our deepest need isn't a "soul makeover" or a better "outlook." It is the Gospel. As he puts it: “We don’t ultimately need New Year’s resolutions. We need the New Adam’s resurrection.”
My heart’s desire is to foster a space where we aren't just checking a box, but entering into a space where, as Zac would put it, we encounter “the gospel in lavish excess.” In a world that constantly demands we "do more" and "be better," Sunday is our opportunity to rest, rejoice, and thank God for what has already been done.
Let’s gather this weekend to celebrate the Truth that sets us free. I invite you to bring your burdens and your praise as we lift up the Name that is above every name.
