Worship this week
Ever been brought to tears listening to a song? I have. For me, it's the profound reverence of "I See The Lord," composed by Don Moen and John Chism and sung by Ron Kenoly. This worship anthem perfectly captures the majesty of Isaiah's vision (Isaiah 6: "I see the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple").
The song is a staggering reminder of our God's sovereignty and beauty, and how, amazingly, we become active participants in that celestial scene. Imagine yourself joining the cloud of heavenly worshippers surrounding His throne! That moment of total worship is waiting for us this Sunday as we join together to honor the only One who is worthy.
