What We Believe

Here’s what we believe

We believe in one God,1 in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.2

We believe in God the Father,3 Creator of all things seen and unseen.4

We believe in Jesus Christ the Son,5 fully human6 and divine,7 who lived sinless8 and died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice for human sin,9 and on the third day he was resurrected from the dead,10 who now reigns in glory,11 and one day will return.12

We believe in God the Holy Spirit,13 who indwells the believer14 and the communion of the saints.15

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.16

We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God17 and are justified freely by his grace.18 It is by grace through faith we are saved,19 and by his grace we share in the unfolding, eternal kingdom of God.20

We believe confession of Jesus as Lord21 and baptism22 are the first acts of obedience of a believer’s diligent faithfulness.

We believe when Christ returns all the dead will rise in resurrected bodies23 and live eternally with him,24 or face eternal separation from God.25
